Star Rapid is currently looking for a copywriter to support our growing international marketing team. Star Rapid is a British owned company located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. We are looking for someone with a creative and hardworking attitude who can learn the technical information quickly to create high quality content. Naturally, you will be an excellent writer with an exceptional eye for detail and a persuasive approach to creativity. The role requires flexible hours and won’t be suitable for someone who likes to switch off at 5pm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a love for words and who enjoys bending them to their will. The ideal candidate will be genuinely curious, flexible and always on the lookout for new ideas and tends. Key Responsibilities: Close Collaboration with our Global Marketing Director, SEO specialist, Editor in Chief as well as Lead Designer Write search engine optimized website content for (service pages, blog pages, industry pages, case studies, etc.) with strong focus on users experience Develop and implement impactful on-page SEO content including title tags, meta descriptions, and optimized header tags and altags Responsible for Content Gap Analysis Responsible for researching keywords, competitor content, and industry trends to optimize existing content and uncover new content opportunities Knowledge of online content strategy and creation A person who can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight Skills & Experience: Understanding of Semantic SEO Content creation and Content Topical Authority principles Familiar with E-E-A-T, customer journey, digital funnels and how implement those into the engaging content Familiar with different types of content for example conversion centric, informative, educational Ability to see conceptual picture of overall content strategy and ability to share ideas, suggestions Experience in using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Keywordsinsight, Surfer SEO (for inspiration only), Keywords Everywhere, etc. Strong writing skills and are able tailor text to the company needs and brand Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Strong research skills Keen eye for detail and a “can do” attitude Obsessed with the latest trends and development Optimistically solution oriented and are seamlessly able to switch between tasks and objectives Work well independently and within a team Stay focused and motivated under pressure Respectful to multinational environment and understand cultural differences Background and Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor Degree preferably in Communications, Marketing or Engineering. We don’t mind if you changed your original profession. What we are looking for is your previous proven experience in the field and passion with challenging work. Languages: English - C1 and Spanish will be strong advantage Experience in writing creative content At least 3 years of SEO copywriting experience in Agency with B2B focus or B2B in-house role or B2B freelance role (preferably manufacturing)
