Job Description



 This Senior PM will be responsible to assure the efficiency and compliance with processes of multiple projects in a regional program level, with frequent interaction with several internal and external stakeholders from all levels.

  • Monitor and control of multiple demands and prioritization over demands.
  • Control and assurance of deadlines and deliveries.
  • Quality control.
  • Develop, control and follow-up of projects and PM's KPIs.
  • Sending reports of demands, deliveries and KPIs.
  • Assist in monitoring the daily activities of the projects.
  • Main point of contact to all subjects related to process and procedures;
  • Preparation and revision of control reports and analysis of project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead project management initiatives, taking responsibility for process and procedures that will improve project end to end service delivery.
  • To provide support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
  • Ensures communication is clear and effective among all team members, including internal and external providers and stakeholders through a regional program.
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout project.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Identifying opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and reporting such opportunities to the appropriate line manager.
  • Identifying ways in which project management products and services can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
  • Capability to handle commercial activities (both to support bid process on behalf of the client, as well as on an account management perspective).

Qualifications



The ideal candidate is an experienced process developer and controller, able to lead multiple simultaneous demands, with good problem-solving skills and a high level of autonomy as well as the ability to prioritize demands correctly.

  • Experience on leading project management commissions for medium to large sized general construction projects of medium to high complexity, or at least sufficient related experience to enable a step up to performing a lead project manager and PMO role. Desirable knowledge in Facilities Management & Infrastructure projects related subjects.
  • Good knowledge of processes and best practices in project management and a keen eye for problem solving.
  • Great interpersonal skills & account management capabilities, together with strong relationship building skills to motivate and negotiate with key team members to reach desired goals.
  • Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, or architecture, with 8 to 15 years in the market. 
  • A broad understanding of the characteristics of projects, over a significant portion of the project life cycle.
  • Good working knowledge of all the main project management concepts, tools and techniques.
  • Experience of managing the financial aspects of a project.
  • Fluent English and highly desired Spanish – written and spoken
  • Good communication – able to manage & handle various project stakeholders – from construction team to client meetings.
  • Knowledge on Digital platforms – Revit, BIM, Autodesk, Sharepoint, Excel, etc. desired.
  • Knowledge on Power BI reports – managing and programming desired.
  • Engineering or Architecture major with at least 10 years in similar roles
  • PMI certified or other Project Management certification is required.
  • Knowledge on Sustainability approach for projects is a plus (LEED certification, other initiatives).
