Job Description
The Corporate Business Accounts Manager at John Deere, working in the Forestry Division, based in Indaiatuba/SP, will be responsible for spearheading market analysis to enhance the formulation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies. This involves creating detailed customer business plans to drive incremental dealer and/or direct sales, focusing on high-potential strategic governmental, national, and/or rental customer accounts across public and private sectors. Furthermore, they will oversee negotiations with executive-level management to structure and execute purchasing agreements/contracts. Additionally, they will cultivate strong customer relationships by developing tailored solutions to meet unique needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and nurture key customer relationships with support from senior colleagues or lead an account team;
- Create and execute relationship management plans for existing customer accounts, focusing on identifying decision-makers and influencers and ensuring their needs are met;
- Set clear objectives for sales calls or meetings, tailor presentations to customer needs, and gather feedback to address any concerns;
- Utilize personal expertise to recommend appropriate products/services to customers, seeking necessary approvals for concessions;
- Collaborate internally and advocate for customers in cross-functional teams;
- Develop relationship management plans for potential customer accounts to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution;
- Input customer information into the CRM system to support retention and business development efforts, or ensure team members maintain accurate data;
- Build a professional network within the sales territory, represent the organization at events, and identify sales opportunities;
- Stay updated on organizational policies, regulatory codes, and industry standards, ensuring compliance;
- Enhance personal skills through training, coaching, and professional development activities, staying informed about relevant technology and industry trends.
What Skills You Need
- Complete Bachelor Degree, preferable in Engineering, Business Administration, or related areas;
- Advanced English Skills (extensive vocabulary, good grammar, leads meetings, argues, negotiates, and conducts training sessions);
- Knowledge and/or experience with forestry or heavy-duty equipment.
- Ability to coach and mentor employees of all levels;
- Knowledge of customers, dealers and other channels;
- Experience dealing with complex negotiations.
