Are you our next Senior HR Project Analyst?
The Senior HR Project Analyst is responsible for providing project governance and leadership to cross-functional project teams in the successful execution of global HR initiatives using the Agile methodology. Responsibilities will include planning and managing team activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters. This person will leverage their business, process, and technology knowledge to establish rapport with stakeholders, assess and resolve risks, and act as a change agent to ensure the total solution delivered to the customer meets/exceeds expectations.
What will you do?
Manage projects and team activities throughout the project life cycle; ensuring objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframes and funding parameters that meet or exceed expectations. Develop business cases and project plans with objectives, define business requirements and milestones, assess proposed solutions, estimate resource requirements, budgets, and timelines using the Agile methodology. Conducts project risk assessments and developing contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events. Responsible for setting and managing expectations, highlighting, and resolving issues, ensuring regular communications and managing internal and external activities.
Develop and manage relationships with key customers and provides business consulting support for project management. Serves as a process expert to work with internal business partners and outsourced vendor to develop requirements, implementation plans and collateral materials. Partner with IT using existing IT processes to innovate, select, and implement the frameworks, methodologies, and tools to optimize our HR strategy and overall user experience.
Serves as project manager/scrum master to guide teams to successful project outcomes. Ensures each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles, and protecting the team from distractions. Facilitate Scrum and or other ceremonies put in place for communication purposes, which will include participating in the weekly HR Leadership Team sprint reviews. Maintain communication, transparency and visibility with sponsors, collaborators, Product Owners and others involved with the sprints. Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Ensure everyone on the team understands the project’s goals and scope.
Acts as a liaison to ensure governance, collaboration, cooperation and communication across HR functions, business units and between team members as needed. Serves as a centralized facilitator to communicate global HR process updates, changes, system impacts and goals/objectives on a regular cadence.
Oversee and provide guidance for planning and change management efforts with HR project teams and ensures execution of change management deliverables for global HR projects and programs for the assigned book of work. Responsible for tracking and reporting global HR project heatmap, metrics and successes/value creation.
What do you need for this role?
High School/GED
Bachelor's Degree preferred, major in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, IT or related field
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in leading projects and/or agile teams and/or experience in the areas of Corporate HR or IT
1-2 years of formal project management or Project Management Office (PMO) experience, managing large scale global or cross-functional projects
For those candidates without a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of related experience is required.
Experience managing cross-functional projects while successfully meeting time deadlines and budget parameters.
Project Management Professional certification with PMI preferred
Agile certifications preferred
PHR preferred
1+ years of process engineering and/or business and/or HR systems analysis
HR project management experience preferred
Knowledge of Agile techniques preferred
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Management knowledge preferred
Effective communicator with the ability to maintain a cohesive team
Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills
Ability to present and discuss complex data for a variety of audiences
Proven ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization

Experience with Workday preferred
Experience with ServiceNow PPM preferred
Knowledge of major HRIS, payroll and time and attendance systems preferred
Knowledge of Talent Management systems preferred.
