Accounting Analyst

Position Summary: An Accounting Analyst at AstroPay ensures accurate financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, tracking company and intercompany transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies. They handle month-end and annual closings, analyze financial variations, and collaborate on implementing new accounting systems while supporting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and annual closing, partnering with the reporting and consolidation team, and analyzing month-to-month variations.


• Ensure accurate tracking of all company and intercompany transactions, managing day-to-day accounting operations.


• Execute accounting analysis and reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies, implementing necessary updates and ensuring adherence across the organization.


• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement new accounting systems or modules, ensuring seamless integration and consistency in accounting records and transactions. Actively participate in the systems migration process.


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including external and internal auditors, in order to ensure company objectives.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.


• +2 years experience in accounting in the payment industry or a related field, working in a senior position.


• Prior Big 4 experience is highly valuable.


• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.


• Advanced proficiency in financial software tools and Excel, including Oracle.


• Fluency in English.


• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
