About the Role:
You will join our reporting team, playing a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Brazilian accounting, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. Your accounting expertise will guide strategic decisions related to regulatory reporting frameworks, including COSIF, CADOCs (BACEN), CONFAZ, and SPED. Additionally, you’ll contribute to CloudWalk’s international growth, providing insights into global accounting and regulatory practices.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and ensure accuracy in regulatory reports such as CADOCs, COSIF, SPED, and compliance with CONFAZ requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance on accounting standards and regulatory best practices.
- Collaborate closely with accounting, compliance, product, and technology teams to streamline reporting processes.
- Support the company's international expansion by advising on accounting and compliance frameworks globally.
- Continuously document and improve accounting and regulatory procedures.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Solid experience in accounting with demonstrated expertise in Brazilian regulatory reporting (COSIF, CADOCs, SPED, CONFAZ).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills to interact with various teams.
- Proactive mindset, eagerness to innovate, and adaptability to continuous learning.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience or familiarity with international accounting standards.
- Interest in or experience with technology tools like BigQuery (SQL), Python, and GitHub.
- Interest in or practical experience applying AI solutions
- Prior experience in financial services.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and their application to accounting and reporting processes.
