We are seeking a Accounting Mid Analyst to be part of a high growth technology and payments global company with a solid track record of delivering high value to our customers.In this role, you will own key financial areas and processes which support the recognition and reporting of financial figures. You will collaborate significantly with various stakeholders across finance, product, and engineering teams to understand and advise on accounting treatment of business initiatives and transactions. You will implement and maintain effective control environments.

As a Accounting Analyst Mid Level you  will be responsible for:

• Participate in building scalable accounting processes to support global growth;


• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses and analytical reviews, producing internal management reporting and external audit support;


• Partner with Product, Systems, Treasury, Tax and Legal to support internal financial systems process improvements and automation and to advise on accounting implications;


• Research and prepare technical accounting analyses for new accounting standards and/or business initiatives;


• Design, implement and execute effective internal control procedures;


• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedural documentation;


• Develop accounting requirements documents to enable automation of our accounting procedures;


• Attendance and monitoring of the work of the external audit and consultancy, providing all necessary clarifications, aiming at the agility and quality of the work of local service providers.

Main requirements for this position:

• Solid accounting and/or industry experience;


• Graduated in Accounting or Administration/Economics (CRC active);


• Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal;


• Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with large data, SQL will be an additional;


• Knowledge in IFRS and BRGAAP;


• Advanced/Fluent Spanish – daily international contact (Let's try it out!);


• Knowledge in SAP (S4Hana)


• Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results


• Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices
