Accounts Payable Analyst

JOB PURPOSE 

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for handling the whole accounts payable process. The profile is a hands-on strategic individual who works independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment.

This position leads the processes including processing of vendor invoices, obtaining approval of the invoices budget owners, and ensuring all vendor invoices are recorded, accounted for and paid on a timely and accurate manner

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Perform analysis, reconciliation, and control of the offshore company's accounts payable.


• Ensure all payments are processed correctly and within established deadlines.


• Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and present results to managers.


• Collaborate with auditing, providing information and support during internal and external audit processes.


• Support the accounting team with data and analyses necessary for closings and accounting reports.


• Support the procurement team, helping with supplier control and payments.


• Oversee and control the reimbursement process, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement to employees.


• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.


• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and process integration also to resolve issues and negotiate payment terms.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.


• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields


• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal jurisdictions.


• Experience in a multi currencies ledger.


• SunSystems knowledge is a plus.


• Knowledge of ERP systems.


• Experience in the Brazilian Financial Market is a plus.


• Knowledge of english, spanish a plus
