The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Plan, schedule, and control preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, ensuring asset availability, operational efficiency, and compliance with maintenance performance indicators, together with administrative support activities involving suppliers.

Plan and control the calibration and maintenance activities of measuring instruments, ensuring metrological traceability, compliance with technical standards, and the reliability of the plant’s measurement processes, thereby contributing to product quality and operational efficiency.

How you will make an impact

• Develop and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance plans;
• Schedule maintenance shutdowns and control execution timelines;
• Manage work orders, backlog, and maintenance records in computerized systems (e.g., SAP, CMMS);
• Analyze performance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, availability, etc.) and identify improvement actions;
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance with external suppliers, including measuring instruments and metrology equipment;
• Oversee the receipt of machine parts and equipment, as well as the shipment and receipt of maintenance parts and instruments for external calibration;
• Control the technical inventory of spare parts and critical materials;
• Develop and manage the calibration plan for measuring instruments (dimensional, electrical, temperature, pressure, etc.);
• Manage internal calibrations in accordance with technical procedures and applicable standards (ISO 17025, NBR ISO 10012) together with service providers;
• Keep the instrument registry up to date and control calibration deadlines in computerized systems (e.g., SAP, CMMS);
• Develop and review maintenance procedures, calibration procedures, and work instructions;
• Participate in internal and external audits related to maintenance and metrology, together with the Quality team;
• Train and guide employees in the proper use of maintenance and calibration procedures;
• Propose improvements to maintenance and calibration processes;
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Ensino Técnico completo em Metrologia, Mecânica, Eletrotécnica, Mecatrônica ou áreas correlatas
• Desejável formação superior em Engenharia, Tecnologia em Metrologia ou áreas afins

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experiência comprovada em calibração e manutenção de instrumentos de medição industrial;
• Conhecimento em normas ISO 17025, NBR ISO 10012 e sistemas de gestão da qualidade (ISO 9001);
• Domínio em técnicas de calibração dimensional, elétrica, temperatura, pressão e vazão;
• Conhecimento em análise de incerteza de medição e estudos de MSA/R&R;
• Experiência com sistemas de gestão de manutenção e calibração (ex: SAP PM, CMMS);
• Pacote Office intermediário/avançado (especialmente Excel);
• Desejável conhecimento em metrologia 3D, máquinas de medição por coordenadas (CMM) e instrumentos de medição avançados;
• Cursos de NR-10 e NR-35 serão considerados diferenciais.
