What will you be doing?

You will be part of the Retail Business Group (RBG), supporting relationships with key retail clients. Our team works closely with the beauty and toy industries, analyzing market and performance data to transform it into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. In this role, you will support the end-to-end delivery of client reporting, including data validation, analysis development, and presentation preparation. You will also contribute to quarterly and semi-annual business reviews, helping to ensure data accuracy and providing insights that support client decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.


• Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in [retail, CPG, or general merchandise] to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor.


• Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.


• Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.


• Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.


• Support Innovation and Feedback: Provide market feedback to internal teams to help refine offerings and contribute to product development.


• Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrated ability to conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses, with a focus on consumer solutions, providing clients with clear, actionable insights to inform strategy.

• Support the development of business analyses and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.


• Collect, organize, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.


• Coordinate with retail partners to ensure timely and accurate data submissions, validating reported figures and resolving data-related questions or discrepancies.


• Monitor data delivery timelines and follow up with retailers to ensure required datasets are received on schedule.


• Assist in identifying and investigating market events and business drivers, such as new store openings, unusual sales growth patterns, or significant pricing variations.


• Support the review and quality control of reports, dashboards, presentations, and other client deliverables to ensure information accuracy and consistency.


• Support the development of quarterly and semi-annual business reviews, analyses, and executive presentations for internal and client-facing meetings.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support ongoing projects.


• Assist in creating presentations and storytelling materials that communicate key findings and recommendations.


• Perform ad hoc analyses and support strategic initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.


• Recent graduate or up to 1-2 years of professional experience.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.


• Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data.


• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with external clients and retail partners.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Proactive attitude and willingness to investigate data inconsistencies and business performance drivers.


• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.


• English proficiency required; Spanish is preferred.
