This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Analista de Controles Internos SOX Pleno in Brazil.
This role is focused on strengthening internal control environments across a global organization, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and supporting robust risk management practices. You will play a key part in mapping processes, identifying risks, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls across multiple business areas. Working in a highly collaborative and international environment, you will partner with stakeholders to design mitigation plans and support continuous improvement of governance frameworks. The position requires strong analytical skills to conduct walkthroughs, assess control design and execution, and identify gaps in compliance structures. You will also contribute to fostering a strong internal culture of risk awareness and control excellence. This is a strategic and hands-on role with high visibility across the organization.
Accountabilities:
- Perform end-to-end mapping of business processes, identifying risks and evaluating internal controls in alignment with SOX requirements.
- Conduct walkthroughs and support the design, implementation, and assessment of internal controls across global operations.
- Partner with business areas to define and implement risk mitigation plans and improve control effectiveness.
- Monitor action plans continuously, ensuring timely execution and identifying opportunities for process and control enhancements.
- Support SOX testing activities, including execution of complex control assessments and documentation of results.
- Promote awareness of SOX compliance, internal controls, and risk management across the organization.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment of control frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Solid experience in SOX internal controls, risk assessment, and process mapping.
- Proven experience conducting control testing and evaluating internal control effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and accounting principles.
- Experience working in complex, global, or multi-business environments is highly desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced English, with ability to participate in meetings with international stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
