Architecture & Engineering Manager

Your responsibilities will include Guide modernization journeys across cloud, data, API integration, and enterprise applications. Supports technical managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes and information Facilitates the evaluation, selection and TCO of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations Establish and evolve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality gates, and shift-left security using Bitbucket Pipelines, SonarCloud, and Veracode. Lead and develop a high-performing Architecture & Engineering team, promoting collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous learning. Define and evolve the Enterprise Architecture & DevSecOps strategy, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and global IT roadmaps. Supports multiple value streams across the enterprise and oversees the overall architecture strategy Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing priorities, investments, and technology adoption decisions. Networking and identity patterns (VPC, IAM, Landing Zones) Security and compliance guardrails Container orchestration and serverless architectures Observability (Grafana, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting) Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistent, automated, and secure provisioning. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Technology leadership roles. Hands-on experience designing solutions on AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms. Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments. Preference will be given to experience with Integration of multiple platforms, SAP architectures, preferably including S/4HANA or SAP BTP. Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps. Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences Skilled at understanding the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations Proficient in translating future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements Experience implementing Platform Engineering / Self-Service Developer Platforms. Experience leading Application Rationalization and modernization initiatives. Familiarity with API Management platforms (Apigee, WSO2) and event-driven / microservices architectures. Certifications such as AWS, GCP, TOGAF, DevOps, or SAP Cloud. Experience in multi-country or global matrix environments. Effective interpersonal skills to work creatively and analytically for solving business problems and propose solutions Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams English Advanced level Spanish is a plus.
