Associate Quality Assurance Analyst

Appnovation is seeking a talented QA Analyst who will contribute to the quality assurance process by providing support for a variety of projects, enhancements, and support initiatives. This role combines hands-on testing responsibilities with a growing involvement in planning and team collaboration. This person will work closely with developers and other QA team members to ensure products meet quality standards.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

• Test & Validate:




• Perform system-level functional and non-functional tests for web and mobile applications, ensuring accessibility, performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness.


• Execute integration-level tests for APIs, verifying functionality, reliability, and performance.




• Detecting & Report Bugs: Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.


• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to improve testing efficiency.


• Review & Refine: Analyze requirements, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.


• Assist with Automation: Support automation efforts by classifying and prioritizing test cases for automation and contributing to automation tasks when required by the project.


• Improve Processes: Contribute to enhancing QA workflows, tools, and best practices.

WHO YOU ARE

• Experience & Education:




• 3-5 years of QA/testing experience, ideally in web and mobile applications.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.




• Testing & QA Skills:




• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.


• Experience in designing test plans, developing test scenarios, and executing tests to ensure comprehensive product coverage.


• Exposure to accessibility and performance testing.


• Experience with mobile testing (iOS & Android) is desirable.


• Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman.




• Tools & Technologies:




• Working knowledge of test case and defect management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and BrowserStack.


• Exposure to frontend technologies like React, Node, or Ionic Fractal, and scripting languages such as HTML, PHP, Java, and JavaScript.


• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Pytest, Cypress, and BrowserStack is a plus.


• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.




• Soft Skills & Work Approach:




• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Results-oriented with creative problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects with minimal supervision.


• Comfortable working in an agile and fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Experience assisting business teams through UAT processes.
