Audio Production Assistant

The Audio Production Assistant is a role tailored for someone looking to grow their career in the postproduction field of the media & entertainment industry.
We are looking for someone who is a passionate individual with a great aptitude for detailed oriented tasks. This role will be responsible for organizing freelance resources and managing audio schedules, in compliance with the Media & Entertainment Audio Production Manager and Media & Entertainment project requirements. The Audio Production Assistant will oversee the smooth execution of daily recording sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Studio Access: Oversee and manage physical access to studio facilities for voice actors. At the conclusion of each recording session, verify that all intended content has been accurately captured. If discrepancies are identified, promptly arrange for a rescheduling with the respective voice actor and technician.
• Scheduling: Book all voice talent for recordings taking place at Keywords Studios Brazil facilities and/or external studios for ME projects. Allocate studios, Creative Directors, and Audio Engineers as projects require.
• Communication: Organize and communicate efficiently daily schedule updates to Creative Directors and Audio Engineers.
• Reporting: Report the recording status of projects to Audio Production Manager.
• Contracts: Obtain signed NDAs and Releases, and organize, file, and track all project related documentation.
• Finance / Admin: Review and fill out payment data, ensuring all data is up-to-date and correct.
• Watermarking: Watermark files for freelancers to protect content and prevent unauthorized use.
• Studio Tests: Organize and coordinate remote studio tests, ensuring that the audio quality meets required standards.

Proficiency with Windows/MAC operating systems.

Knowledge of post-production terminology, audio and video file formats, and a good command of file transfer systems.

A proven experience with audio production and postproduction

Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, professionally, and effectively.

Ability to adapt to evolving priorities, workflows and tools.

Experience in administrative, postproduction, and/or production assistant roles

Able to communicate fluently in English (written/oral).

Knowledge of Brazil Voice Talent Agreements is a plus.
