Physician on FIRE is a personal finance website created to inform and inspire both physicians and our patients with insightful writing from a physician who has attained financial independence and the ability to retire early. The site has a triple aim to leave visitors enlightened, educated, and entertained.

The Role

We're searching for a superstar to join our team as a Customer Support/Business Development Representative (BDR). You'll be the friendly voice that connects us with amazing B2B clients (businesses selling to other businesses) and ecommerce stores.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Chat with potential clients: Answer questions about our marketing services in a clear and helpful way (think: explaining things simply!).
  • Support our sales team: Schedule appointments and help move interested businesses through the sales process.
  • Be a customer champion: Assist existing clients with any questions they may have.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have some experience in sales or customer service (but it's not a must!).
  • Are a natural encourager and enjoy building relationships.
  • Can explain things clearly and confidently (even if English isn't your first language - B2 fluency is great!).

Please note: This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand basic business concepts.

Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 1 year experience within a B2B Sales / Account Executive or Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the Consulting, Media & Entertainment and Social Platforms industry.
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
