Position: Multilingual Prompt Designer
Type: Freelance
Compensation: $12–$15/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 2+ months
Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts in Portuguese and/or English with constraints and instructions. Ensure natural phrasing and relevance for Portuguese users.
• Establish evaluation standards for responses in Portuguese contexts. Develop rubrics considering linguistic nuance and cultural conventions.
• Run prompts through models. Assess outputs for accuracy, fluency, and cultural fit in Portuguese. Compare results against English where needed.
• Collaborate in QA reviews to ensure prompt tasks and rubrics meet rigor. Maintain consistency across Portuguese benchmarks before integration.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in Portuguese (written) with strong reading/writing ability in English.
• BS or BA from a reputable institution (completed or in progress).
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar tools.
• Based in Brazil or able to produce Brazil-specific Portuguese.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching, research, editing, or academic writing.
• Experience creating evaluation criteria, rubrics, or grading guidelines.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompting, or model evaluation.

• Complete a 45-minute written assessment focused on writing and rubric creation.
