Business Analyst

Street Diligence is a high-growth FinTech start-up with an innovative product offering and ambitious expansion plans. Our clients include leading financial institutions that use our platform to analyze and negotiate advantageous terms in legal and financial contracts.  We break down key terms, identify what’s “market” and “off-market” and flags risks embedded in contract terms.  Our platform also provides unique visuals, benchmarking and comparison to place negotiations and contracts in context.  Founded in 2012, Street Diligence is headquartered in New York. 

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team working on our AI Powered Fintech SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate will quickly learn the product's functionalities and contribute to the development and enhancement of our platform. You will work closely with sales, client success, engineering, design and product management to ensure the successful delivery of high-value features and improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed specifications.

• Collaborate with sales and business teams to gather and validate requirements.

• Conduct technical scoping sessions and discover bottlenecks

• Help to define performance budgets and how fast clients need things

• Assist product management in managing the product backlog and roadmap.

• Prioritize tasks to optimize the delivery of features to users.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Support client success to ensure customers are well-supported and feeling the love.

• Perform tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the product.

• Write customer-facing release notes and support smooth feature launches

• Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to engage with engineering teams.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Adaptability and quick learning capabilities.

• Experience with Jira

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in SaaS.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality features.

• Experience with agile methodologies and scrum processes.

• Familiarity with Finance Industry trends is a plus.

• Experience in Analytics, Dashboards, Reporting and other analysis platforms is a plus.
