CAD Engineer

This is a project-based position that aims to update, review, and create piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for Makban and Tiwi to ensure that accurate information and system data are used. 

The scope includes converting, updating, and verifying existing diagrams into CAD files in collaboration with RCM/PROD. This project also aims to convert all available diagrams to CAD files and update drawings through MOC, Asset Information verification, DOLE PTO Drawing Compliance, Drawing Requests for other requirements, and AssetVision Development.

As CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for updating, reviewing, and creating piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for Makban and Tiwi to ensure that correct information and system data will be used and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Converting and updating existing P&ID drawings of AP Renewables (MakBan and Tiwi) Geothermal plants.

  
  


• 
  

  Updating drawings due to  Management of Change (MOC) requirements as requested via P&ID Asset Vision.

  
  


• 
  

  Updating of asset information while conducting actual line tracing in the plant.

  
  


• 
  

  Drawing and creation of missing drawings will be evaluated and can be listed for reference for future projects (this may be considered as the next targets if identified as critical).

  
  


• 
  

  Target completion of this project is in December 2026.

  
  

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who can:

  S1. Do Site verification and updating of existing diagrams of MGP and TGP (according to project schedule)

  
  


• 
  

  S2. Do Conversion of all identified relevant P&IDs to CAD files

  
  


• 
  

  *S3. Prepare for updating the other units of MakBan and Tiwi missing drawings

  
  


• 
  

  *S4. Create a sustainable process for P&ID update a system (with database) for managing the P&ID files

  
  


• 
  

  *S5. Collect all possible asset information available during line tracing and use temporary tagging for newly identified / additional assets during the process

  
  

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

  
  

Technical / Functional Skills:

• 
  

  Proven AutoCAD skills

  Power plant system (Geothermal) or equivalent
