This role sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and digital product development, driving the transformation of complex healthcare protocols into intelligent, AI-powered solutions. You will act as a critical bridge between medical professionals and technology teams, ensuring that clinical knowledge is accurately translated into scalable product requirements. The position involves deep collaboration with physicians, nurses, engineers, and data teams to redesign care workflows through automation and AI. You will play a central role in shaping how clinical protocols are structured, interpreted, and operationalized in a digital environment. This is a highly strategic and impactful role within a fast-paced, innovation-driven squad focused on healthcare transformation. It requires both clinical credibility and strong product thinking to ensure safety, usability, and measurable value. The environment is collaborative, multidisciplinary, and oriented toward building next-generation healthcare intelligence systems.
Accountabilities:
- Act as the key liaison between clinical teams (physicians, nurses, and healthcare managers) and product/engineering squads, ensuring seamless translation of clinical needs into product requirements.
- Map, analyze, and document clinical protocols and care pathways, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and AI-driven enhancement.
- Conduct structured discovery sessions and interviews with healthcare professionals to extract functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate clinical insights into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and feasibility for engineering execution.
- Validate implemented solutions with clinical stakeholders, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and care quality expectations.
- Identify clinical, operational, and regulatory risks in product requirements and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, representing the clinical perspective during planning, refinement, and review cycles.
- Support documentation efforts required for internal governance, audits, and regulatory validation processes.
Requirements
- Academic background in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related healthcare fields.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, or Innovation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital product management or healthcare technology projects.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows such as hospitalization, triage, electronic health records, and clinical protocols.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools (Jira, Confluence or similar).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both clinical professionals and technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex clinical concepts into structured product requirements.
- Advanced English reading ability is a plus.
- Experience with AI/ML healthcare projects, hospital environments, or healthtechs is considered a strong differentiator.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (LGPD, ANVISA, CFM) is an advantage.
