YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

As an Sr. Expert, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team and business stakeholders in navigating the complexities of legal compliance and data privacy within the Regional Compliance and Data Privacy Team. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to contribute to the integrity of Bayer’s operations by ensuring adherence to policies such as Anti-Corruption, Code Compliance, and Data Privacy regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing essential support in compliance matters, conducting due diligence checks, and assisting in the rollout of training initiatives that promote a culture of compliance across the organization;
• You will collaborate closely with various internal teams and external clients, fostering relationships that enhance Bayer’s reputation and operational effectiveness;
• Conduct or support internal Compliance Investigations for non-material cases according to Corporate Policy 2029 within the LPC Express Regional Unit;
•  Conduct under supervision or support higher level Investigators in the handling of Material Compliance Investigations upon demand, according to Corporate Policy 2029 within the LPC Express Regional Unit;
• Establish and contribute to an effective regional case dispatching mechanism Manage and control;
• Compliance Cases statistics, including the provision of updates on trends and supporting the higher level Investigators on the provision of reports to internal stakeholders;
• Coordinate with local LPC Business Partner on demand Provide training and guidance with regard to investigations and issue handling;
• Coordinate investigation matters with outside counsel and service providers, under the supervision of higher level Investigators.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

Must have:

• Academic degree in law, accounting, risk management;
• English language on native speaking or comparable level;
• Minimum fluent (oral and written) in one other language of the Americas Region (Spanish, Portuguese).

Skill/experiences:

• Knowledge of Compliance Management Systems desirable;
• Knowledge on anti-corruption, anti-trust, data privacy or laws relevant to the life science industry helpful;
• Previous experience in other companies;
• Good communication and training skills;
• Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player;
• Good understanding of foreign cultures;
• Willingness to develop around Compliance;
• Process and IT affinity;
• Good project management skills;
• Good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge in handling of management tools.

Nice to Have:

• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish (written and spoken).
