This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor SAP Mobile Development Kit based in Brazil.
This is a hands-on technical consulting role focused on the design, development, customization, and support of SAP mobile solutions, particularly SAP Service & Asset Manager. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, engaging with both functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications. The role involves building and maintaining robust mobile experiences for Android and iOS using SAP MDK, ensuring performance, stability, and usability in enterprise contexts. You will also contribute to troubleshooting complex issues, supporting deployments, and enhancing existing solutions. The position requires strong technical depth, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. You will play a key role in ensuring mobile solutions integrate effectively with SAP ecosystems and client business processes.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK).
- Implement and support SAP Service & Asset Manager (SSAM) deployments.
- Configure SAP Mobile Services, including destinations, security parameters, and offline configurations.
- Create and enhance MDK artifacts such as Pages, Rules, Actions, and Services.
- Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution across mobile environments.
- Apply patches and SAP notes as required to ensure system stability and compliance.
- Work with OData services, handling CRUD operations (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and query options ($select, $filter, $expand, $orderby).
- Manage code versioning using Git and collaborate in structured development workflows.
- Utilize MDK local tools such as TNS/Nativescript and ILODATA for development and testing.
- Produce clear technical and functional documentation aligned with project standards.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK).
- Solid JavaScript development skills, including ES6, asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
- Experience debugging MDK applications using Visual Studio Code.
- Familiarity with MDK tooling such as TNS/Nativescript and ILODATA.
- Experience managing external dependencies and project extensions.
- Strong knowledge of OData protocol and its query capabilities.
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Experience in SAP Service & Asset Manager projects is a plus.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.
