As Associate Director, Consumer Engagement, you will lead how Novo builds lasting relationships with consumers across the Cardiometabolic portfolio. You will turn consumer insight into engagement strategies that make every interaction more relevant, personal and useful. What you'll bring

To lead this agenda with confidence, you bring:

• Experience in Consumer Marketing, Consumer Engagement, CRM, Digital Marketing, Customer Experience or a related field.

• Significant leadership experience, with direct accountability for team performance, talent development, budget management and business results.

• A proven track record of leading consumer-facing campaigns and engagement initiatives across multiple channels.

• Strong experience measuring and optimising ROI from consumer activations, digital initiatives, CRM programmes and partnerships.

• The ability to translate consumer insights into engagement strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

• A strong strategic, analytical and consumer-centric mindset.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.

What you'll do

You will own the Consumer Engagement agenda and connect strategy to execution so consumers experience a seamless, relevant relationship with us. In this role you will:

• Define and execute the overall Consumer Engagement strategy, ensuring a seamless, consumer-centric experience across the entire journey.

• Drive personalisation and relationship strategies through CRM and journey management to improve acquisition, engagement, retention and advocacy.

• Lead consumer-facing campaigns, engagement programmes and activation initiatives across digital and physical channels.

• Identify and develop new opportunities through innovative channels, partnerships and consumer-focused approaches that create value beyond brands and products.

• Generate actionable insights from consumer data, research, market trends and feedback to inform strategic decisions.

• Establish measurement frameworks, KPIs and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness and ROI of engagement programmes, campaigns, activations and partnerships.

• Build, lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of innovation, experimentation and consumer-centricity.

Who you'll work with

You will join the Cardiometabolic Marketing team within Product & Portfolio Strategy, where colleagues connect commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across therapy areas to help guide the portfolio and strengthen competitiveness.

You will lead your own Consumer Engagement team and partner closely with brand marketing, digital, CRM, analytics, medical and commercial colleagues to deliver integrated consumer experiences. By seeking clarity, aligning partners and moving at pace, you will help teams turn insight into action and win together across functions.
