Contractor, Auditor/Inspector

*This role is in a labor relation PJ Contract in a part time model to work in these regions: Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Belo Horizonte-MG, Região Nordeste e Região Centro Oeste.*

The auditor performs works normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects, by nature of their complexity and difficulty, require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of Management Systems. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, the auditor will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures.

What You Will Do:

• Review management system manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards.
• Plan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits.
• Prepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation.
• Prepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification.
• Lead introductory and closing meetings at client’s facilities.
• Maintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities.
• Additional program-specific roles and responsibilities defined in each program procedure.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience:

• Professional education or training equivalent to university level and a minimum of three (3) years of experience related to Management Systems.
• Completed and approved on Lead Auditor Course according to ISO9001 and/or ISO45001 and/or ISO14001
• Completed EMS and H&S Legislation training courses (for ISO14001 and ISO45001 qualification) – minimum duration 24 hours for each one

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• The ability to identify, analyze and propose solutions to problems.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.

It Would Be Nice If You Had:

• Former experience in second- or third-party audits on behalf of a Certification Body.

Reporting Relationships:

The incumbent will report to the Technical Manager. This position does not have any direct reports.
