Critical Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer

Ventia is seeking an experienced Critical Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer to join our Telecommunications maintenance contract based in Parramatta. In this highly autonomous role, you'll take ownership of critical telecommunications infrastructure and work across a diverse portfolio of generators, UPS and 48V DC power systems, helping keep essential services operating while building your career and continuing to Find Your Further with Ventia.

About the Role

As the Critical Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer, you will manage the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of maintenance services across a portfolio of critical telecommunications assets.

Additionally, you'll:

• Deliver predictive and reactive maintenance activities while ensuring contractual KPIs are achieved


• Manage subcontractor performance, capacity, quality and commercial outcomes


• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including leading governance and performance meetings


• Monitor contract performance, reporting, costs and opportunities for continuous improvement


• Support quotations, tenders and portfolio growth initiatives through work-winning activities


• Coordinate asset replacement programs, infrastructure renewals and critical maintenance projects

About You

• Electrical Engineering qualification, electrical trade background or equivalent technical qualification


• Experience within critical infrastructure, facilities management or telecommunications maintenance


• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, batteries and 48V DC power systems


• Demonstrated experience managing maintenance contracts and subcontractor relationships


• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills


• Current Australian Driver's Licence
