We’re looking for a Data Analyst who thrives on turning experimental results into clear, actionable insights. You’ll work side-by-side with our Data Scientists to analyze credit experiments, build dashboards that surface the impact of our tests, and uncover behavioral shifts in our merchants and customers. Your work will help shape how we evolve our real-time credit decisioning and improve access to fair financing for millions of Brazilian entrepreneurs.
The Financial AI Team
- We’re part of CloudWalk’s Financial Services domain, powering money movement and credit decisions—including real-time credit engines, repayment orchestration, dynamic pricing, and collections.
- We build and run scoring models, underwriting systems, and pricing logic that keep credit decisions fast, fair, and explainable
- We design experiments that directly shape credit limits, default rates, and merchant growth
- We believe in data-driven democratization of access to capital
- We put curiosity first—exploring before exploiting
- We solve puzzles that demand safety, compliance, explainability, and speed all at once
What You'll Do
- Analyze results from credit experiments, identifying statistical significance, practical impact, and behavioral changes in merchant activity
- Build and maintain Looker dashboards to monitor experiment outcomes, merchant behaviors, and financial performance metrics
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to define metrics and measurement strategies for experiments
- Identify behavioral trends resulting from experimental changes in credit policies or processes
- Synthesize findings into clear narratives for the team
- Automate reporting pipelines for ongoing experiment tracking
- Ensure data quality and consistency in metrics and dashboards
Technologies / Tools You’ll Use
- SQL for querying large-scale financial datasets (BigQuery is our main warehouse)
- Python for data analysis, visualization, and statistical evaluation
- Google Cloud Platform + BigQuery for analytics infrastructure
- Looker for dashboard development and monitoring
- Data visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn) for deeper experiment analysis
What You'll Need
- Strong skills in SQL and Python for data analysis
- Experience analyzing experiments (A/B tests or similar) with understanding of statistical significance and causal inference basics
- Ability to translate complex results into clear, actionable insights for the team
- Experience building dashboards in Looker
- Solid data visualization skills—turning raw metrics into intuitive stories
- Understanding of behavioral analysis—how to detect and interpret shifts in user or merchant actions
- Strong communication skills in English & Portuguese
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery
- Background in finance, economics, or behavioral science
- Familiarity with credit experiments and lending KPIs
- Experience in fintech or other data-heavy industries with experimentation culture
