Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to develop and maintain robust database architectures that support data-driven decision-making. This role plays a critical part in designing and optimizing data repositories, ensuring high performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage efficient ETL/ELT pipelines and database scripts.
• Perform database schema modifications, indexing, and data validation procedures.
• Resolve database-related issues and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with development and analytics teams to ensure data reliability and accessibility.
• Contribute to the architecture and ongoing improvements of the Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
• Lead standardization efforts, mentor team members, and enforce best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in database engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL/ELT processes and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB.
• Familiarity with BI tools and system integrations (e.g., Shopify, Recharge).
