This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Android Pleno based in Brazil.
This role is focused on building and enhancing high-impact Android applications within a fast-evolving digital environment. You will work on delivering personalized user experiences powered by recommendation systems and intelligent checkout flows, directly influencing user engagement and conversion. The environment is collaborative and data-driven, with strong interaction between mobile, backend, and data teams.
You will contribute to the integration of predictive recommendation APIs and advanced e-commerce journeys within the mobile app.
The role involves implementing analytics instrumentation to support product intelligence and decision-making.
You will participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile features.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, including recommendation engines and intelligent checkout systems.
- Implement and maintain user flows for logged-in experiences, including payment method pre-selection and conversion optimization.
- Instrument analytics events (GA4/Firebase) to support personalization and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with backend and data teams to define and evolve API contracts and integration standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to best practices including testing, version control (Git), and code review processes.
Requirements:
- Solid experience as an Android Developer working with Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API consumption and mobile integration patterns.
- Experience with MVVM or Clean Architecture in Android applications.
- Hands-on experience implementing analytics tools such as GA4 or Firebase.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, Git workflows, and code reviews.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to mobile performance and user experience.
- Nice to have: experience in e-commerce or high-traffic retail apps, checkout/payment flows, recommendation systems, or backend technologies such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
