Accountabilities
You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, evolution, and continuous improvement of backend systems and services, working across development, operations, and architecture activities. Your role will include supporting deployments, production monitoring, and incident resolution, while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Prepare, execute, and support system deployments and production releases
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve production incidents and system issues
- Collaborate with development teams to identify improvements and optimize processes
- Refactor existing functionalities to reduce technical debt and improve performance
- Maintain and evolve legacy systems while ensuring stability and continuity
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team alignment and technical discussions
Requirements
You bring solid experience in backend development, particularly in Java ecosystems, along with strong understanding of scalable system design, APIs, and database-driven applications. You are comfortable working in complex environments with legacy systems and modern architectures, and you apply best practices in clean code, testing, and performance optimization.
- Degree (completed or in progress from 4th semester) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
- 4+ years of experience with Java development (Java 8+)
- Strong experience building REST APIs and working with distributed systems
- Solid knowledge of Clean Code, refactoring, and software engineering best practices
- Advanced SQL and experience with relational databases
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ
- Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA
- Familiarity with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support environments
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset in team environments
