This opportunity is designed for an experienced software engineer who wants to contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance technology solutions. You will work on complex systems, leveraging modern architectures, cloud technologies, and event-driven approaches to deliver impactful results. The role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with engineering teams to solve challenging business problems. You will help define technical standards, improve software quality, and support the evolution of robust digital platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about backend and frontend development, innovation, and building reliable solutions in a dynamic environment.
Accountabilities:
- Define and promote technical standards, development best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Develop and integrate event-driven services using modern software engineering approaches.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Angular technologies.
- Act as a technical reference for the development team, providing guidance and supporting engineering decisions.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, identifying efficient and sustainable solutions.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices-based solutions.
- Work with messaging platforms and distributed systems to ensure reliable communication between services.
- Contribute to software quality initiatives, including testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, efficient, and high-quality technology solutions.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in software development with Java and Angular.
- Advanced knowledge of Java 11/21 and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, or IBM MQ.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with automated testing using JUnit and code quality tools such as SonarQube.
- Knowledge of Apache Camel is a plus.
- Experience working with financial systems, including banking, insurance, PIX, or payment platforms, is desirable.
- Experience with Angular or React for frontend development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
