Salary: $19,560.72 USD annually







Job Description



We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team and provide top-notch hardware and software support to employees and new hires across multiple locations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and managing IT assets, providing end-user support, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.







Key Responsibilities:



  • Hardware & Software Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac devices, including imaging, software deployment, and break-fix repairs.

  • IT Asset Management: Handle inventory, asset tagging, redeployment, and disposal of equipment while maintaining accurate records.

  • End-User Assistance: Provide walk-up support, remote troubleshooting, and VIP/executive IT assistance.

  • AV & Depot Support: Set up and maintain audio/video equipment and manage depot operations.

  • Vendor Coordination: Work with external suppliers for repairs, warranty claims, and spare parts management.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Generate weekly inventory reports, track service requests, and ensure adherence to company IT policies.

  • New Hire Onboarding: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to equip new employees with necessary hardware and software.






Requirements



  • Experience: 2-3+ years in IT support, with expertise in Windows/Mac platforms, Microsoft Office, and basic networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet).

  • Technical Proficiency: IMAC, printer queue management, data backup/recovery, and mobile device support.

  • Certifications (Preferred): A+, MCP, or equivalent.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills (English B2 level).

  • Logistics: Own a car for inter-office travel (mileage reimbursed) and a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
