What you will be doing:
- Lead the cinematography of InfiniteStudios’ audiovisual projects — from planning to shoot day — bringing consistency, beauty, and intention to every frame.
- Define and execute visual concepts based on briefings, scripts, and brand tone — including lighting design, camera movement, and lensing choices.
- Operate camera and direct small crews, or coordinate with camera operators and gaffers when needed.
- Collaborate with directors, writers, and editors to ensure narrative and visual alignment across all phases of production.
- Participate in pre-production processes such as location scouting, shotlists, and testing camera setups.
- Manage and maintain all studio equipment — including cameras, lenses, lights, rigs, batteries, and storage — ensuring everything is organized, functional, and ready for production.
- Be responsible for the organization and management of media assets — including hard drives, SSDs, and backups — guaranteeing that footage and project files are properly labeled, stored, and accessible.
- Oversee or advise on gear rentals and logistics in partnership with producers and assistants.
- Embrace and experiment with AI-powered video tools — including generative and synthetic workflows (e.g. Luma, Runway, Pika, Wonder Studio) — to expand creative possibilities, enhance previsualization, and reimagine storytelling.
What you need to succeed:
- Proven experience as a cinematographer or camera director in branded content, advertising, or editorial film.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, lighting control, and composition mastery.
- Technical knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, and rigging — experience with both natural light and studio setups.
- Creative sensibility to build tone and emotion visually, adapting to different content types and audience needs.
- Familiarity with or strong curiosity for generative video tools and emerging AI workflows.
- Advanced/Fluent english for communication.
- Availability for hybrid collaboration, ideally based in São Paulo or nearby regions for on-set presence.
- Sense of ownership and responsibility over audiovisual gear — with care, discipline, and organization in managing technical resources.
