Accountabilities:
The FBS Associate Analytics Engineer will support the development and maintenance of data workflows, helping convert complex information into accessible and valuable insights. The role requires a combination of technical execution, analytical thinking, and collaboration with business and data teams.
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines that support business analytics needs.
- Perform data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and validation activities to ensure reliable datasets.
- Transform raw data into structured, high-quality information ready for reporting and analysis.
- Support the resolution of data challenges by applying engineering and analytical principles.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Apply best practices for data quality, accessibility, and documentation.
- Contribute to improving data workflows and processes through automation and optimization.
- Develop an understanding of business processes and translate analytical needs into technical solutions.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an early-career data professional with foundational knowledge of analytics engineering, programming, and cloud technologies, combined with curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- 1–3 years of experience working with SQL, Python, or related data technologies.
- Foundational experience with data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, transformation, and modeling.
- Familiarity with analytics engineering tools such as dbt.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to analyze data challenges and contribute to practical technical solutions.
- Understanding of analytics principles and business processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and distributed environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
