This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Frontend Engineer Sênior – React in Brazil.
This role is an opportunity to build and evolve high-impact digital interfaces that directly support millions of users in the healthcare ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing fast, accessible, and reliable frontend experiences used by medical professionals and patients across Brazil. The position demands strong technical expertise in modern React-based architectures, with a focus on performance, scalability, and usability. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers in a highly collaborative, product-driven environment. Beyond implementation, you will actively contribute to technical decisions, frontend standards, and the continuous evolution of the platform. Your work will have a direct impact on improving healthcare journeys and making medical access more efficient and human-centered.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and evolve high-quality frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to design and implement scalable and user-centered solutions.
- Contribute to technical decisions within the squad, proposing improvements and best engineering practices.
- Improve application performance, accessibility (WCAG), and overall stability across platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with strong documentation standards.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring continuous improvement and shared ownership of code quality.
- Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and end-to-end) to ensure application robustness.
- Contribute to the evolution of design systems and frontend standardization when needed.
- Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and trends, proposing enhancements to the product.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building scalable digital products with modern frontend architectures.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API integration.
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or similar.
- Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with design systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js is a plus.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and observability tools (Sentry, Datadog) is a plus.
- Previous experience in healthtech, fintech, or high-scale consumer products is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
