Full Stack Product Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ship features every day on our product for caregivers and operators.
• Review other engineers code and provide feedback
• Architect new features from the frontend to the backend.
• Build out integrations with third-party vendors.
• Give feedback on future products and designs.
• Implement the appropriate level of logging, monitoring and testing according to the business needs.
• Learn about the senior living/age tech space in the United States.
• Own projects from requirements to production. Create the necessary tasks to get the project done and deliver the business value with minimal oversight.
• Be on the on-call rotation for production support.

Qualifications

• A strong grasp of the English language
• 2+ years of experience across the stack building web or mobile applications in production environments.
• Ready to learn quickly and pick up new technologies and skills.
• Able to move across the stack when needed even if you prefer backend/frontend more.
• Ready to understand the business and product and contribute to it.
• Some experience with JavaScript/TypeScript on the backend and frontend. Our stack is React, Node.js, Express, TypeScript, Capacitor.js and MySQL. We host everything on Heroku and AWS.
• Excited to be scrappy and move fast while making sure to maintain a high quality bar.

We will educate you on the senior living/age tech space in the United States. No expectations of experience in the space.
