Functional Consultant- Grower Standard

The Vistex Functional Consultant plays a key role in the successful implementation of Vistex solutions within SAP environments. They collaborate with clients to understand business needs, configure SAP systems accordingly, and support the end-to-end implementation lifecycle. This role involves blueprinting, process mapping, data modeling, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:  

• Implementation of SAP add-on technologies (solution extensions) on projects for the Agribusiness Industry in Brazil.


• Provide on-site and remote consulting services to Vistex customers implementing Vistex products and solutions.


• Participate in execution of project deliverables such as blueprint workshops, documentation, specifications, configuration, and testing/training support.


• Represent complex business processes in SAP MM using solution extensions.


• Conduct workshops to gather and document business requirements into blueprints.


• Identify and document all required FRICEW objects (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows) during project realization.


• Execute configuration of Vistex solutions.


• Support integration testing and provide expertise in defect resolution.


• Participate in post-go-live support including critical care and knowledge transfer.


• Perform quality assurance on configured systems and prepare documentation for customer support.


• Learn and gain expertise in current and emerging Vistex product offerings.


• Conduct system setup, data migration, and integration activities.


• Actively contribute to phases including Business Blueprint, Conceptual Design, Realization, Cut-over, Go Live, and Post-production support.


• Prepare solution documents such as FUT and SIT.


• Conduct integration tests, UAT, and training sessions.


• Perform project documentation aligned to milestones.


• Mentor associate functional consultants and coordinate deliverables.


• Support test processes and maintain testing documentation.


• Understand upstream/downstream process impacts including master data, sales, and finance.


• Ensure adherence to solution delivery best practices and quality standards.
