About this opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Architect with strong AI expertise to join our Product Architecture team at Ericsson.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing end-to-end solutions for our products and platforms, with a strong focus on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI capabilities.

You will work closely with product, engineering, platform, and other stakeholders to understand complex business needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and high‑quality architectures. This position combines strong architectural thinking with hands-on understanding of modern technologies and AI-driven solutions.

You will work in accordance with the Ericsson Product Development Principles, contributing at a senior level and providing technical leadership across initiatives.

What you will do

• Act as a solution/system architect, driving end-to-end design for complex product and platform initiatives.


• Design and guide the integration of AI and Generative AI capabilities into products and internal solutions.


• Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into robust, scalable architectures.


• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, acting as a trusted architectural reference.


• Support architecture evolution, design reviews, and technical decision-making.


• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across products, platforms, and sites.


• Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Support cloud-native and distributed architectures across different environments.

The skills you bring

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect or System Architect, with proven ability to see the big picture and solve complex problems.


• Practical experience or strong exposure to AI / Machine Learning / Generative AI, including hands-on experimentation or delivery of AI-related initiatives.


• Understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.


• Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP and/or Azure).


• Ability to guide teams through architectural decisions, even if not always hands-on.


• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.


• A mindset for innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.


• Coaching and mentoring capabilities to support team growth.

Nice to have:

• Background or academic exposure in AI / Machine Learning (courses, certifications, or degrees).


• Experience working in large-scale, enterprise product environments.


• Familiarity with containerized environments and modern deployment models.
