General Manager Brazil, Luxury & Lifestyle, São Paulo, Permanent, M/F

We are partnering with an iconic French Luxury Maison, internationally renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, heritage and timeless Art de Vivre, to recruit its future General Manager Brazil.

Based in São Paulo, you will lead the Brazilian subsidiary and play a key role in accelerating the brand's growth across one of its most strategic markets.

Beyond leading the local business, you will spearhead the opening of the Maison's first directly operated boutique in Brazil while strengthening its wholesale network and elevating the brand's presence in the market.

This role offers a clear opportunity to evolve into a General Manager LATAM position within 18 to 24 months, depending on business performance and the regional organization's development.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the International Leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall performance and strategic development of the Brazilian subsidiary.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Define and execute the commercial strategy to accelerate business growth in Brazil.
  


• Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, key accounts, premium retailers, hospitality partners and prescribers.
  


• Drive brand desirability and ensure premium market representation across all channels.
  


• Lead the opening of the first company-owned boutique in São Paulo and support the future retail expansion strategy.
  


• Manage the subsidiary's full P&L, budgeting, forecasting and business performance.
  


• Lead, coach and develop the local team while coordinating external partners and service providers.
  


• Work closely with headquarters within a highly collaborative international matrix organization.
  


• Represent the Maison with high-profile clients, partners and industry stakeholders.
  


• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the long-term expansion strategy across Latin America.
  

Profil

You have a proven track record in senior commercial or general management roles within international organizations, ideally in Luxury, Premium Consumer Goods, Hospitality, Design, Lifestyle or Retail.

You combine strategic vision with a highly operational mindset and enjoy being close to customers, teams and business challenges.

You bring:

• Extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market and its commercial ecosystem (LATAM exposure is a strong advantage).
  


• Strong B2B commercial expertise with distributors, wholesalers and key accounts.
  


• Solid experience managing a business unit or subsidiary, including full P&L ownership.
  


• Experience developing distribution networks and accelerating business growth.
  


• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build, execute and deliver results quickly.
  


• A collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  


• A strong understanding of premium retail and customer experience. Experience opening retail stores is a significant advantage.
  


• High standards, accountability and the ability to thrive in an international matrix environment.
  

Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential. French would be considered a strong asset.
