The Opportunity
This position works out of São Paulo location in the Established Pharmaceuticals Division.We are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
As the Latam Training Manager you’ll have the chance to be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring strategic learning and development programs across the Latin America region for the Established Products Division (EPD).
This role ensures alignment between commercial capabilities, sales excellence, and organizational strategy, driving both individual and business performance across all levels.
The position partners closely with in-country Leads to ensure the effective rollout and localization of regional training initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Learning Strategy & Planning
Define and deploy the regional training strategy aligned with business and commercial objectives.
Conduct capability assessments and identify learning needs across countries and sales roles.
Build and maintain the LATAM Annual Training Plan, integrating onboarding, lifecycle training, refreshers, and skill development programs.
Harmonize global frameworks with regional and local realities, ensuring cultural and business relevance.
Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, available resources, and strategic priorities.
2. Learning Design & Program Development
Act as a Learning Designer, creating end-to-end learning journeys (blended, digital, and experiential).
Design and deploy both soft skills (leadership, coaching, communication, negotiation, strategic thinking) and technical / hard skills programs (product knowledge, disease awareness, tools, CRM).
Develop and facilitate Train-the-Trainer programs for in-country trainers and field leaders.
Partner with global teams to adopt innovative learning technologies and methodologies (microlearning, gamification, AI-driven learning).
3. Regional Implementation & Country Support
Coordinate with each country leaders to execute the regional learning roadmap.
Support the rollout of regional initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards.
Act as a consultant and coach for local trainers, helping adapt programs to their country context.
Foster cross-country collaboration and knowledge sharing through best practice exchanges.
Participate in key training sessions and field coaching visits to strengthen implementation consistency.
4. Performance Measurement & Learning Analytics
Define and track KPIs for all training initiatives (satisfaction, knowledge retention, application, and impact).
Develop dashboards and reports to communicate training effectiveness to senior management.
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments and performance analyses to identify learning impact.
Continuously refine programs based on learner feedback and performance data.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or related fields. MBA or postgraduate degree desirable.
Solid understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, medical promotion, and field team dynamics.
Knowledge of Commercial Excellence frameworks and capability models.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS/LXP platforms).
Strong analytical mindset with ability to measure training effectiveness and ROI.
Familiarity with compliance, medical governance, and regulatory aspects of pharmaceutical promotion.
Strategic mindset and ability to connect learning to business results.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
Collaboration and stakeholder management with a cross-cultural approach.
High adaptability, resilience, and comfort navigating ambiguity.

Advanced in English and Spanish. Portuguese is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of +10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Sales Training roles, in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong track record in designing and implementing learning strategies.
Experience in capability-building initiatives for sales teams and improvement performance.
