This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager (Gestor de Projetos) based in Brazil.
This is a senior project leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex technology projects in a hybrid delivery environment. You will oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment between scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations. The role requires strong coordination between technical teams and clients, acting as a key facilitator to ensure smooth communication, fast resolution of impediments, and continuous stakeholder alignment. You will also play a central role in planning ceremonies, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to structured delivery methodologies. In addition, the position involves contributing to resource planning, documentation governance, and financial health monitoring of projects. This is a highly collaborative role in a dynamic environment where leadership, structure, and adaptability are essential to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Lead one or more project teams in the delivery of technology initiatives using a hybrid delivery methodology.
- Manage and control project scope, schedule, risks, communication, and overall integration activities.
- Ensure execution of all project ceremonies in alignment with established delivery frameworks (e.g., Now Create methodology).
- Act as a facilitator between technical teams and clients, promoting engagement, collaboration, and strong partnership.
- Proactively remove blockers, anticipate scheduling needs, and ensure continuous project flow without interruptions.
- Manage client expectations, preventing and resolving communication gaps to maintain strong relationships.
- Ensure delivery excellence in alignment with agreed scope, timelines, and commercial conditions.
- Oversee proper project documentation following standardized templates and governance processes.
- Support requirements gathering and process mapping during workshops alongside technical leads and architects.
- Assist in sprint planning, user story definition, acceptance criteria creation, and test scenario alignment.
- Collaborate with delivery leadership on resource allocation and team planning.
- Support financial monitoring of project health in partnership with management teams.
Requirements:
- Higher education degree (Bachelor’s, Technologist, or Postgraduate).
- Advanced English proficiency for interaction with global or cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience in project management fundamentals with senior-level exposure.
- Advanced knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and related tools.
- Experience in hybrid or agile project management environments.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, risks, and complex project dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with technical teams and enterprise clients is highly desirable.
