Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose: Perform in-depth analyses of electronic and mechanical devices, identifying failures following detection standards.
- Acceptance testing: Execute acceptance tests on electronic and mechanical devices.
- Documentation: Record written and photographic evidence, document occurrences in specialized software, and maintain detailed reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Logistics, Quality, R&D, and Operations teams to understand failures, propose solutions, and support root cause investigations.
- Inventory & lab management: Organize and maintain the physical and digital inventory of returned devices and those awaiting disposal, while ensuring the lab remains clean, organized, and fully operational.
- Continuous improvement: Propose and implement improvements to optimize processes and team routines.
- Technical expertise: Operate instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Communication: Actively participate in team and department meetings, presenting results and aligning actions with leadership.
Requirements
- Completed Technical Degree in Electronics.
- Proven professional experience in electronics troubleshooting, repair, or related areas.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and schematic reading.
- Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and basic concepts of hardware and firmware.
- Ability to interpret electronic technical documents (datasheets, schematics, PCB Gerbers) and mechanical documents (2D technical drawings and work instructions).
- Hands-on experience with measurement and diagnostic instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, microscopes, etc.).
- Intermediate English fluency.
- Live or have availability to move to Sao Paulo.
Bonus Points
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C.
- Experience with other low-level programming languages.
- Fluency in English proficiency.
