Java Developer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and self-driven Java Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will take ownership of development tasks, ensure timely delivery, and communicate progress or blockers clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and MyBatis
• Write efficient SQL, understand indexing strategies, and work with relational databases
• Work with middleware such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Elasticsearch (nice to have)
• Take ownership of tasks, track progress proactively, and communicate challenges or blockers in a timely manner
• Analyze and resolve development issues independently

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and JDK
• Solid knowledge of MyBatis
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of database indexing
• Experience with at least one messaging queue or caching middleware (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) is a plus
• Self-starter with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
