Javascript Backend Developer

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs in a serverless architecture, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security;
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems to ensure high reliability and performance;
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript;
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Serverless;
• Experience with AWS services and integration (specially Lambda and CDK);
• Solid knowledge in working with SQL databases;
• Familiarity/experience with agile/scrum methodologies and team collaboration.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL;
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React.js to support full-stack initiatives (NextJS experience is a big plus).
