Jr Buyer

Job Description:

• Manage performance through the development of action plans for cost reduction, including price analysis, comparison, and benchmarking.

• Organize cross-functional activities to support the achievement of goals.

• Analyze supplier quotations and cost structures to ensure competitiveness.

• Act as an interface and provide support to other related business areas (Cost Control, R&D, Logistics, Quality, etc.).

• Serve as a facilitator within the company, identifying obstacles, proposing solutions, and escalating issues when necessary.

• Prepare reports by commodity.

• Be the direct point of contact with suppliers.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.

• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

Software Knowledge:

• MS Office (Excel + Power Point Mandatory)

• Familiarity with procurement tools and SAP.

Experience:

• Experience in purchasing or related supply chain functions.

Education:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)

Languages:

• Intermediate English

• Spanish will be considered a plus

• NBA – São Paulo, SP
