What you’ll do:

As a Product Development Engineer, your will main goal with to develop new product designs based upon customer expectations, applying project management principles to effectively accomplish goals and objectives on time and within budgetary constraints. If you have great communication and analysis skills, a detail-oriented frame of mind, and are always up to date with new trends and tendencies, this opportunity is yours! In detail, you will:

- Develop and contribute to the development of new designs, from individual components to complete systems or products, working with a team to guarantee project requirements are met as well as targets for time, cost and quality;

- Assists in the translation of consumer needs to technical specifications for product design; 

- Elaborate and update the project's required documentation (e.g. ECR, ECN, PPAP, specifications) inside the adequate systems;

- Coordinate prototyping and laboratory testing procedures necessary to validate new designs, making use of quality tools to secure design robustness (e.g. FMEA, DFA, PSRA, Tolerance Chain Analysis);

- Prepares information for BOM creation;

- Provide technical support to the factories to improve productivity.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Who you are:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering;

- Experience with product, system and/or component design;

- Experience with CAD software;

- Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing and assembly principles;

- Advanced English.

 Where you’ll be:

You will be based at the Curitiba Factory Plant, located in Guabirotuba. It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling two to four times a year. Benefits include:
