Mid Level Software Engineer (SAP ABAP) - Indaiatuba/SP

As a Mid Level Software Engineer (SAP ABAP) at John Deere in Indaiatuba/SP, in our Order Management Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to work across global applications. You will build the core systems that power our worldwide operations. We are looking for tech-driven minds to design complex OData REST APIs, enhance our SAP SD module, and implement modern automated testing practices. In our highly collaborative and agile environment, you will use cutting-edge tools and AI to deliver innovative and global solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Delivery Lead, Product Manager, and Software Engineers to develop complex solutions that meet business requirements;


• Manage multiple products, initiatives, and projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and requirements;


• Follow industry‑standard agile software design methodologies for development and documentation;


• Support your colleagues and team members by working collaboratively and sharing knowledge through pair‑programming and code review sessions.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields;


• Advanced English: Ability to participate in meetings, write clear documentation, and collaborate effectively with global teams;


• Solid experience coding and debug using ABAP;


• Experience working with SAP SD/VMS;


• Experience working with test automation;


• Availability to work in a hybrid model (at least 3 days a week on-site in Indaiatuba, SP).

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience coding backend/frontend using Java and React;


• Experience with AWS, Github, Terraform;


• Solid experience integrating systems and designing and coding APIs (Odata);


• Solid experience with automated tests;


• Solid Software Engineering skills;


• Previous experience working with Order Fullfilment/Sales processes.
