Operations & Maintenance Operator III – Affirmative Position for Women

Your Responsibilities

• Perform operational switching, equipment isolation, and system restoration activities at the power plant, both in the field and from the control room.


• Carry out scheduled inspections, collect and analyze operational data, and execute planned work activities and testing procedures.


• Maintain up-to-date technical and operational records in the plant’s operation and maintenance software systems.


• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical installations, issuing reports and supporting failure analysis activities.


• Participate in the commissioning of new systems, modernization projects, and equipment retrofit initiatives.


• Drive continuous improvement by proposing new ideas and technologies applicable to the power generation process.


• Comply with and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental Management standards in all activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Technologist Degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation and Automation, or Power Generation Processes.


• Advanced knowledge of power plant operation procedures, maintenance activities, and operational switching practices.


• Advanced ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.


• Basic knowledge of PLCs, supervisory control systems, industrial networks, electrical installations, and equipment calibration.


• Valid Category B driver’s license and availability to travel within the region.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a versatile, proactive, and collaborative profile.


• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.

José Gelázio Small Hydroelectric Plant (PCH José Gelázio) – Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, Brazil.
On-site position.
