In this role, you will contribute to product strategy while building complex backend functionalities and robust APIs that support evolving business needs. You will play a key role in ensuring code quality, improving system architecture, and maintaining reliable development and deployment pipelines. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will help shape technical decisions and drive continuous improvement across engineering practices. You will also mentor less experienced developers, share technical knowledge, and promote engineering excellence. Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to co-create product vision, contribute technical insights, and support strategic decisions regarding solution design and implementation.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable backend functionalities using .NET, ensuring high performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Design and implement robust APIs that support multiple integrations, effective versioning strategies, and secure communication between systems.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, refactoring, technical documentation, and the resolution of complex code conflicts.
- Diagnose, investigate, and resolve critical issues affecting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, maintaining reliable development and deployment workflows.
- Apply secure development practices and relevant security standards, including OWASP guidelines, to protect applications, APIs, and data.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of microservices architectures, promoting scalability, modularity, and efficient system integration.
- Optimize system performance by applying strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering best practices.
- Support and mentor less experienced developers by sharing technical expertise, reviewing implementations, and promoting consistent engineering standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes, system architecture, code quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with product objectives, customer needs, and long-term business goals.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in backend software development using .NET, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainable code.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with the ability to apply optimization techniques to complex software systems.
- Proven experience with Git version control strategies, branching workflows, code integration, and the resolution of complex merge conflicts.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving critical issues in CI/CD pipelines and supporting reliable software delivery processes.
- Strong ability to design and implement scalable, secure APIs, following established security best practices and OWASP guidelines.
- Practical knowledge of microservices architecture principles, including service modularity, scalability, and integration patterns.
- Experience conducting code reviews, refactoring existing solutions, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and maintaining high engineering standards.
- Ability to analyze technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions, and make sound architectural and implementation decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to product-level discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and support the development of less experienced engineers.
- Proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and commitment to continuous learning and engineering process improvement.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining alignment with team objectives and delivery priorities.
