Job Title: Plant Manager (Manufacturing \u0026 Operations)\n\nCity: Hortol\u00e2ndia,SP / Jaguar\u00e9,SP\n\nAs a Plant Manager you will be responsible for the end\u2011to\u2011end performance of complex industrial operations, leading large, multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, EHS, quality, and support functions. This role drives operational excellence, safety, cost efficiency, \n\nand strategic growth, ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated.\n\nYour key responsibilities\n\nStrategic \u0026 Business Leadership\n\n * Define and execute short-, medium-, and long\u2011term (up to 5\u2011year) strategic plans for the site in alignment with corporate and regional strategies.\n * Own and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets (typically exceeding USD 10MM annually), including capital prioritization and ROI\u2011based investment decisions.\n * Lead site performance governance, reporting results to regional and global leadership and ensuring achievement of agreed KPIs.\n\n\n\nOperations \u0026 Manufacturing Excellence\n\n * Oversee all manufacturing operations, including production, utilities, maintenance, logistics, quality, and supply chain.\n * Support/involvement in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S\u0026OP, S\u0026OE, MPS, and detailed plant scheduling processes.\n * Drive continuous improvement through Operational Excellence methodologies such as Lean, TPM, Reliability Engineering, and Six Sigma.\n * Ensure high levels of operational reliability, productivity, yield, and service level.\n\n\n\nHealth, Safety, Environment \u0026 Quality (HSEQ)\n\n * Act as the senior site leader for Health, Safety, and Environment, fostering a strong safety and compliance culture.\n * Ensure compliance with local legislation and global standards, including environmental and process safety requirements.\n * Lead quality management systems and certifications (e.g., ISO, FSSC), supporting customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements.\n\n\n\nPeople Leadership \u0026 Culture\n\n * Lead large and diverse workforces (approx. 180+ employees and contractors), both directly and through matrix organizations.\n * Develop leadership capability through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.\n * Sponsor and lead Diversity, Equity \u0026 Inclusion initiatives, including representation targets, cultural transformation, and infrastructure adaptations.\n * Drive employee engagement and a high\u2011performance, accountability\u2011based culture.\n\n\n\nProjects, Technology \u0026 Digital Transformation\n\n * Support large industrial projects (greenfield and brownfield) with investments \n * Sponsor digitalization initiatives, including production data automation, performance dashboards, and Industry 4.0 / AI applications.\n * Act as site subject\u2011matter expert for new products, processes, technology transfers, and international implementations.\n\n\n\nYou Bring\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline.\n * MBA or Postgraduate specialization in Industrial Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.\n * Extensive experience in multinational industrial environments (chemical, food, automotive, or process industries).\n * Proven track record in senior operational leadership roles such as Site Manager, Plant Manager, or Industrial Director.\n * Experience managing complex, high\u2011risk operations with strong governance and compliance requirements.\n * International exposure and experience working with global and regional stakeholders.\n * Strong expertise in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Reliability, and EHS.\n * Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and capital investment justification.\n * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Reliability Engineering, and Six Sigma (Green Belt or equivalent).\n * Strong change management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n * Leadership style focused on people development, accountability, and continuous improvement.\n * Portuguese: Advanced to Fluent proficiency (written, spoken, and listening)\n * English: Advanced to Fluent proficiency (written, spoken, and listening)\n * Spanish: Conversational proficiency\n\n\n\nWe Bring\n\n * A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers. \n * A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset.\n * A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally.\n * The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose.\n * A flexible work environment that empowers people to take accountability for their work and own the outcome.\n * Barrier-free communities within our organization where every employee is equally valued and respected \u2013 regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity.\n\n\n\nHow to apply\n\nInterested in this job?
