Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to increase the speed and structure of low‑complexity and spot purchases that directly impact our field and scientific operations. These teams need fast and responsive procurement processes with clear communication and follow‑up. This role will centralize tactical buying, improve stakeholder experience, and bring consistency to travel, office support, and payment workflows.

Location: São Paulo – SP (On-site)
Languages: Portuguese and English – both fluent

Role Responsibilities:

Procurement

• Execute spot purchases (laboratory equipment, field supplies, IT and hardware, office materials).

• Develop and onboard local suppliers, maintaining an up-to-date vendor base aligned with global guidelines.

• Support the formalization of agreements, contracts, and supplier catalogs.

• Issue purchase orders (POs) and oversee the full Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.

• Monitor deliveries, ensure proper supplier follow-up, and log incidents as needed.

• Act as the go-to person for procurement-related questions within the internal team, based on corporate guidelines and policies.

• Ensure process compliance with internal policies, due diligence criteria, and company compliance standards.

Administrative and Financial Operations

• Manage the internal process or platform for corporate travel arrangements.

• Support supply and infrastructure management for the office and HUBs (material purchases and controls, basic facilities maintenance).

• Assist in verifying and correctly processing incoming invoices (with or without purchase orders).

• Liaise with the accounts payable team and BPO to ensure timely payments, validating bank information, due dates, and proof of delivery.

Background & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, or related fields.

• Knowledge of Brazilian tax and fiscal regulations.

• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative routines with strong financial interfaces.

• Fluent or advanced English (daily use with global teams).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Self-starter profile, well-organized, and highly responsible.

• Strong Stakeholder Alignment: Field, lab, and admin teams feel supported and report excellent communication and responsiveness; the analyst is seen as a reliable point of contact who proactively anticipates needs.

• Process Improvement Mindset: Small but impactful improvements (ex: order templates, supplier databases, travel booking guidance) are implemented without needing to be asked, reducing friction for internal requesters.
