Accountabilities:
The Product Designer Specialist will lead high-impact design initiatives, connecting user needs, business objectives, and healthcare outcomes. This role requires strategic thinking, strong design execution, research expertise, and the ability to influence teams through data-driven decisions.
- Lead complex Product Design initiatives from discovery through delivery, aligning user needs, product strategy, clinical impact, and business goals.
- Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative research, developing research strategies, synthesizing insights, and transforming findings into actionable product directions.
- Translate complex problems into scalable solutions through user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
- Define and evolve experience standards across critical product areas, contributing to Design System improvements, accessibility, and interface quality.
- Partner strategically with Product Managers, Engineering, Data, Growth, and business teams to influence roadmaps, priorities, and product decisions.
- Create frameworks for measuring user experience, defining metrics, hypotheses, and experiments connected to business and user outcomes.
- Drive continuous experience improvements using behavioral data, research findings, user feedback, and experimentation.
- Act as a technical reference for Product Designers through mentoring, design critiques, quality reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Explore emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, personalization, automation, and data-driven design opportunities.
- Represent Product Design in strategic discussions, helping establish a strong user-centered culture across the organization.
- Promote best practices in design processes, research methodologies, accessibility, and product innovation.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a senior Product Designer with strong strategic experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building impactful digital products. This professional should be comfortable influencing decisions, mentoring designers, and working across complex product ecosystems.
- Proven experience as a reference in Product Design, solving complex organizational and product challenges.
- Ability to connect user experience, business objectives, and measurable product impact.
- Experience influencing product strategy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and experience measurement.
- Ability to transform qualitative and quantitative data into clear product recommendations.
- Experience with Design Systems, information architecture, service design, and complex user journeys.
- Strong understanding of accessibility principles, inclusive design, and user-centered methodologies.
- Experience designing digital products in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor designers, provide constructive feedback, and promote design excellence.
- Experience using AI tools to improve design workflows, productivity, and innovation.
- Knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, copilots, conversational experiences, or AI-powered products is a plus.
- Experience in healthtech, telemedicine, regulated industries, or environments involving privacy requirements is highly valued.
- Familiarity with LGPD, behavioral science, data visualization, personalization, gamification, motion design, and microinteractions is considered an advantage.
- Experience in digital product consulting or high-complexity product environments is a plus.
- Active participation in the design community through articles, talks, workshops, mentoring, or content creation is valued.
